Job summary

Oklahoma Association of Community Action Agencies seeks an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, advocate for Community Action priorities, and steward federal grants and training programs. The role involves coordinating a small staff, working with a Board, and representing Oklahoma’s CAA network with legislators and partners.

The Executive Director will oversee the Weatherization Center and Head Start programs, manage multiple grants, and build relationships across statewide agencies

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible management experience.
• Experience with federal grants management and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and serve as spokesperson and strategist.
• Oversee grants management, compliance, and reporting across funding streams.
• Manage annual conference, training calendar, and Day at the Capitol.
• Develop relationships with state and federal partners to advocate for priorities.
