The Director reports to the CCC Board.

The Director guides mission-aligned operations, plans budgets, oversees compliance and fundraising, and leads meetings.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Executive Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Christian Counselors Collaborative (CCC). This role ensures the effective operation of CCC therapists, and administrative staff while fostering strong partnerships with pastors, department heads, partnering churches, affiliates, and the CCC Board of Directors. The Director reports directly to the CCC Board.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
  • Lead and manage the CCC with a heart of compassion and love for Jesus and people.
  • Ensure that all that we do aligns with the mission and the vision of the CCC
  • Oversee operations, finances, and staff to ensure organizational health and sustainability.
  • Guide therapists and administrative teams in fulfilling the mission of providing professional, affordable Christian counseling.
  • Provide direction and oversight to the CCC psychoeducational groups. Collaborate and consult with ACAC Adult Ministries regarding support groups at ACAC.
Organizational Oversight
  • Maintain organizational documentation, including policies, agreements, procedures, bylaws, incorporation records, and board minutes.
  • Ensure ethical, regulatory, and nonprofit compliance across all CCC activities.
  • Plan and facilitate CCC Board of Directors meetings (twice annually).
  • Recruit and engage CCC Board members.
  • Follow God's leading in expansion of new CCC partnering churches and new therapists.
  • Review and update policies and procedures.
  • Oversee offsite expansion initiatives.
  • Consult with pastors of partnering churches.
  • Interview and onboard new therapists who join the CCC.
  • Lead and organize the Meeting of the Hearts and Minds meetings and administrative meetings.
  • Provide weekly prayer support.
  • Conduct annual therapist reviews and address complaints or concerns.
  • Work closely with the Administrative Assistant and Intake Coordinator to:
    • Ensure accurate data collection, financial tracking, deposits, billing, and tax reporting.
    • Support intake processes with professionalism, timeliness, and Christlike care.
  • Prepare annual budgets and financial statements for board review and approval.
  • Provide oversight to the use of scholarship funding for low-income individuals to enable them to access professional counseling through both the CCC and ACAC scholarship funds.
  • Oversee fundraising initiatives, donor appeals, and donor appreciation efforts.
Counseling & Communication
  • *Provide direct counseling to 5-8 clients weekly (*This would not apply to a candidate who is not a licensed therapist.)
  • Maintain daily communication with CCC therapists regarding intake matters and emerging needs.
  • Report to the CCC Board on matters related to the CCC.
