Job summary

Compassion Place in Midland, Ontario, is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission-driven work, steward resources, and advance compassionate care for communities facing pregnancy challenges. The ED will partner with the Board, staff, volunteers, churches, and donors to sustain growth and impact.

The role requires Christ-centred leadership, strong governance and fundraising experience, and a commitment to trauma-informed ministry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit leadership, ministry, management, or related field
• Demonstrated fundraising, governance, donor relations, strategy, and leadership
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with boards of directors

Responsibilities

• Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
• Lead organizational governance, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement to advance Compassion Place’s mission.
• Oversee programs, staff, volunteers, and financial stewardship with trauma-informed leadership.
