Job summary

City of New York (ACS) is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Child Care Data Analysis, Strategy, and Management systems within the Division of Child and Family Well-Being. The role reports to the Associate Commissioner and shapes data strategy, governance, and program reporting across city agencies.

The position focuses on modernizing data management, real-time analytics, and performance measurement to support policy decisions and child welfare operations.

Responsibilities

• Data Systems Strategy: Develop and shepherd a multi-year strategic roadmap for child care data systems and reporting capabilities.
• Data Systems Technical Lead: Maintain advanced knowledge of front/back-end child care voucher data systems like ACCIS and RACL; perform data mining and reporting.
• Data Governance and Performance Infrastructure: Establish standards for data governance, reporting accuracy, and performance measurement.
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead the Child Care Data Analysis, Strategy, and Management systems team; supervise staff.
