Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a Senior Director Laboratory Services to lead the Central Lab operations, including on-site and satellite facilities. You will direct strategic development, manage department finances, and supervise professional and clerical staff to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities include multi-site operation oversight, QA and compliance with CAP standards, staff development, and coordinating long-range plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in lab management; 10 years related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years.
• ASCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees department performance and budgeting, ensuring fiscal success.
• Manages QA/improvement activities, accreditation compliance (CAP).
• Responds to internal requests, maintains service excellence for customers.
