Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• ASCP certification required.
• 7 years in lab management with 10 years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversees department to ensure effective performance, budget and staff management.
• Ensures quality assurance and regulatory compliance (CAP, audits).
• Responds to internal requests and maintains service excellence for customers.
• Coordinates long-range plans and annual Central Lab budgets and financials.
• Hires, trains, and develops staff; manages performance and discipline as needed.
• Sets performance expectations and provides feedback and developmental plans.
• Identifies staff education/training needs and follows up with plans.
• Evaluates current and future market opportunities.
