Santa Barbara Audubon Society is seeking a full-time Executive Director to lead the local chapter of the National Audubon Society. The ED will work with the Board to implement policies, manage day-to-day operations, and serve as a public face for Audubon in the community.

The role requires occasional evenings and weekends and a home-office setup. The position offers salary between $90,000 and $110,000, with health benefits and paid time off, and opportunities to grow SBAS programs and donor

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration or a science.
• Leadership in a mission driven nonprofit with a board that sets policy, strategy, and goals.
• Experience with nonprofit administration including finance, staffing, volunteers, marketing, and fundraising.
• Ability to work from home with stable wifi and reliable phone connection.

Responsabilidades

• Administration and Operations Management of SBAS - day-to-day operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Program Implementation and Management, including SBAS programs and events.
• Fundraising, Membership, and Donor Management to sustain financial health and growth.
• Serve as SBAS ambassador at events and forums; oversee EITS program and coordination with partners.
• Coordinate with stakeholders (Board, committees, donors) and manage CRM and donor communications.
• Plan, budget, and initiate new programs or events with board approval.
