Job summary

Brown University seeks a visionary Executive Director of the Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Center for Career Exploration and Associate Dean of the College. The role combines leadership of career services with academic advising for undergraduates, advancing Brown’s Open Curriculum and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in career services or related field; 5+ years in management.
• Ability to build inclusive relationships with alumni, employers, faculty, staff, and students.
• Strong experience in academic advising and student development.
• Track record in data-driven program assessment and continuous improvement.
• Proven fundraising experience with donor cultivation and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tisch Center for Career Exploration and advise undergraduates as Associate Dean.
• Set strategic direction, oversee staff and budget, and advocate for innovation.
• Integrate career exploration with undergraduate education and Open Curriculum.
• Use data analytics to evaluate programs and communicate institutional value.
• Collaborate with alumni, employers, faculty, and college committees.
