Brown University seeks an Executive Director of its Career Exploration Center and Associate Dean of the College to lead an undergraduate model centered on student self-direction and meaningful career exploration as part of a liberal arts education.

The role shapes a nationally recognized career exploration program, advises undergraduate students, and partners across divisions to align career development with enrollment, retention, and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in career services or related field with 5+ years in management.
• Experience building inclusive visions and partnering with alumni, employers, faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, strategic direction and oversight for a best-in-class career services and education center.
• Oversee a sizable staff and student advisors, and engage in extensive programming for undergraduates.
• Advise undergraduate students as an academic leader and collaborate with College divisions and committees.
• Champion evidence-based practice, leverage data analytics to evaluate programs and demonstrate institutional value.
• Integrate career exploration and learning across the undergraduate experience; align with enrollment, retention and student success.
• Report to the Dean of the College and participate in senior leadership initiatives.
