Job summary

Carefree Living in Cook, MN is seeking an experienced Executive Director/Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) to lead our assisted living community. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on resident-centered care.

Qualifications

Current Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license is required.
Previous Executive Director or assisted living leadership experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Minnesota assisted living regulations and operations.
Experience with staffing, budgeting, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of assisted living communities, including clinical, administrative, dining, environmental, and staffing functions.
Provide leadership and support to managers and staff to ensure high-quality resident-centered care.
Maintain compliance with county, state, and federal assisted living regulations.
Partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure services are delivered according to resident care plans.
Lead and support QAPI initiatives, safety programs, and operational improvement efforts.
Monitor census, admissions activity, and CRM documentation; manage relationships with referral sources.
