Job summary

Senior Resource Group in California is seeking a Director of Assisted Living (DoAL) to lead the assisted living program and manage day-to-day operations. The role directs planning, implementation, and evaluation of services and coordinates with healthcare providers and other partners to address resident needs.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, overseeing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with the Executive Director on safety, budgeting, and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing license.
• Experience in health, human services, and/or community services field.
• Experience managing a large team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to hire, direct, and manage personnel.
• Knowledge of State regulations and Nurse Practice Acts; compliance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to work as a team member in sharing the responsibilities for resident services.
• Participates in departmental and community meetings and projects.
• Oversees care of Enliven residents with the Enliven Director.
• Directs and participates in pre-move-in resident assessments to identify needs.
• Develops and updates resident service plans with person-centered approaches.
• Monitors KPI's of daily operations in Assisted Living.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and supervise staff and club coordinators.
• Supervises medication administration and/or assistance with self-administration.
• Maintains confidentiality, compliance, and resident/employee rights.
