JPMorganChase is seeking an Applied AI/ML Executive Director to lead advanced ML initiatives across NLP, speech analytics, and predictive modeling. You will collaborate with diverse teams to deploy production-grade solutions and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes cross-functional cooperation with Business, Technology, Legal, and Compliance to translate research into scalable, value-driving outcomes. A strong research background and passion for experimentation are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience or MS with 7+ years in quantitative field.
• Strong background in NLP or speech recognition and analytics, personalization/recommendation.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning toolkits.
• Ability to design experiments and evaluation metrics aligned with business goals.
• Experience with big data and scalable model training; clear communication to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art ML models for NLP, speech analytics, time-series, or recommendations.
• Collaborate with Business, Technology, Product, Legal, Compliance, Strategy, and Management to deploy production-ready solutions.
• Coach and mentor other AI/ML team members toward growth and success.
