Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX seeks an Applied AI/ML Executive Director to lead ML initiatives across NLP, speech analytics, time-series and recommendations. You will drive research, experiments, and collaborations with business and technology teams to deploy scalable solutions into production.

The role emphasizes hands-on ML/DL expertise, quantitative rigor, and leadership to grow the AI/ML capability in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field or MS with 7+ years of related industry/research experience.
• Strong background in NLP or speech analytics and personalization/recommendation.
• Hands-on experience with ML/DL toolkits (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas).

Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art ML models for NLP, speech analytics, time-series predictions or recommendations.
• Collaborate with Business, Technology, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Strategy and Business Management to deploy solutions into production.
• Coach AI/ML team members toward personal and professional success.
