Job summary

University Health seeks an Executive Director for Financial Operations - Ambulatory Services to lead financial performance across the physician network and ambulatory clinics. This role partners with medical, administrative, and finance leaders to identify opportunities, drive efficiency, and strengthen profitability.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in a related field, and a Master’s is preferred, with at least five years in a multi-specialty setting and strong ambulatory finance expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field is preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in a multi-specialty group practice, clinic setting, complex managed care environment or healthcare operations.
• Four years of managerial experience is highly preferred.
• Expertise in ambulatory clinic financial performance including revenue cycle performance or contracting is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Track, report, analyze, advise and support improvement of financial outcomes for the physician network and ambulatory services.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative leadership to plan and implement changes to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee financial programs related to strategic planning, operating and capital budgeting, provider compensation plans, revenue cycle strategies, and financial variance reporting.
