Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an Executive Director, Strategic Enablers, Frontier Partnerships and R&D in Durham, NC. The role leads AI enablement, governance, and scalable AI solutions across the enterprise, reporting to the Chief AI Officer.

This is a hybrid, full-time leadership position requiring deep experience in AI strategy and platform leadership, with significant travel expectations. The role emphasizes building reusable AI platforms, partnerships, and enterprise-grade solutions while guiding R&D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 15+ years in software/AI/enterprise tech leadership or related.
• 5+ years leading design, deployment, and scaling of production AI/ML or agentic AI capabilities.
• 5+ years architecting enterprise-grade software platforms and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead strategy for enterprise AI enablers, SDLC, and AI capabilities.
• Partner with engineering and business leaders to accelerate AI adoption via reusable platforms and services.
• Establish AI governance, evaluation, observability, security, and responsible AI practices.
