Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine seeks an Executive Director, Medical Education Student Services, to lead student-facing services across EPS. You will align operations with academic priorities, drive continuous improvement, and oversee a staff of about 30 with a $30M portfolio on campus.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled service design, accessibility, and student-centered delivery across the learner lifecycle, reporting to the Assistant Dean and partnering with decanal faculty leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience in administrative and financial management.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and change management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced financial expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and grants/contracts administration.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and provide leadership to achieve goals and vision of EPS.
• Develop strategic plans for programs and allocate resources accordingly.
• Oversee internal policy development for programs and operations.
• Manage finances across all sources for annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate grants and contracts ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Lead adoption of AI and advanced technologies to improve services.
