Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Agentic Factory to lead the enterprise AI agentic factory, designing, building, deploying, and scaling agents and autonomous workflows that drive measurable business impact. You will oversee AI engineering, platform leadership, and cross-functional delivery across product and business units.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience leading AI engineering and enterprise technology organizations.
5+ years leading managers or multidisciplinary technical teams.
Experience scaling AI or data platforms in regulated enterprises.
Strong technical fluency across LLMs, agent orchestration, MLOps/LLMOps, security, and governance.
Proven ability to build reusable engineering standards, reference architectures, and accelerators.

Responsibilities

Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the enterprise Agentic Factory.
Build and scale reusable AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and agent development standards.
Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to deliver high-value AI use cases.
Establish engineering best practices for LLMs, agent orchestration, observability, security, and governance.
Drive adoption of reusable tools and reference architectures to reduce time-to-value.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of AI engineers, platform engineers, and solution architects.
Measure and improve the performance, reliability, and business value of deployed AI agents.
