Job summary

John L. Norris Addiction Treatment Center seeks a Director to provide clinical, operational, and fiscal leadership for a 44-bed inpatient ATC. The role ensures high-quality substance use treatment in line with OASAS regulations, CARF accreditation, and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years of professional clinical experience in health care, mental health, or addiction setting.
• One year of this experience must have included directing a licensed or certified addictions program.
• Possess requirements to be designated as a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) as defined in 14 NYCRR, Chapter X, Part 800.2(15).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, operational, and fiscal leadership to ensure quality substance use treatment services in compliance with OASAS regulations and CARF accreditation.
• Plan, organize and administer a comprehensive state-operated program of addiction treatment services including admissions, treatment planning, patient services, referrals and discharge.
• Develop and submit annual and monthly narratives and statistical reports for program audit, reimbursement, and reporting units.
• Monitor quality of care issues, incident reports, and adherence to regulations, maximizing revenue and ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
