Oakmont Management Group seeks an Executive Director for Ivy Park at Los Gatos to lead day-to-day operations, ensure quality resident care, and manage staff and budgets. The role requires oversight of occupancy, regulatory compliance, and relationship management with residents, families, and the corporate office.

Qualifying candidates should have two years of college and at least three years of elder-care experience, plus a California RCFE Certification or Nursing Home ED license.

Qualifications

• Two years of college completed.
• Proven ability to operate a computer and use MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work with seniors and understand dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient operations and overall management of the Community.
• Hire, evaluate, coordinate, monitor performance, schedule and supervise staff.
• Achieve and maintain budgeted occupancy and budgetary compliance; represent the property to residents and the Corporation.

is a premier senior living community located in Los Gatos California and managed by Oakmont Management Group Based In Irvine California Oakmont Management Group is a recognized leader in senior living operating 110 communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands We are the 1 operator in California and a top ten operator in the United States serving thousands of seniors across California Nevada Colorado and Hawaii With strong momentum and continued expansion we are actively growing into new markets The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and overall management and direction of the day to day functions of their Community in accordance with property policies and procedures current standards guidelines and regulations They will hire evaluate coordinate monitor performance schedule and supervise staff in accordance with company policy The Executive Director is also responsible for achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy; achieving and maintaining budgetary compliance; professionally representing the property to the community and the Corporation and creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for the residents

Qualifications

• Completion of two 2 years of college and at least three 3 years of experience providing residential care to the elderly or equivalent education and experience as approved by the Department of Social Services
• A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director
• Prefer five 5 years of experience supervising and managing employees
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs Word Excel etc
• Knowledge of andor ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care
• Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals
• Able to be flexible adapt and respond to change make decisions in stressful situations and prioritize tasks and projects
• Able to process information and apply common sense understanding to follow and carry out written or oral instructions
• Able to analyze solve and respond to problems or concerns
• Able to count and perform moderately complex math problems read and understand budgets and other financial reportsstatements
• Able to explain ideas and communicate complex ideas to a wide audience employees residents family members governmental agencies public etc both in writing and verbally
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate participate in daily screening surveillance testing and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment PPE to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 or other communicable diseases per regulatory guidelines
