The Village at Rockville, part of Nationallutheraninc, seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead a faith-inspired community in Rockville, Maryland. The role involves shaping the resident experience, managing a large team, and ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration and possess proven leadership skills within senior living. Exceptional benefits, including up to 5 weeks PTO and comprehensive insurance, are offered.

You’ve already proven you can run a strong senior living community. Now you’re looking for a place where your leadership can truly change the game. As Executive Director at The Village at Rockville, you’ll lead a highly regarded Life Plan Community in Rockville, Maryland, supported by a 130‑year, faith‑inspired not‑for‑profit that invests in people. Here, you won’t just manage a community — you’ll shape how older adults experience home, connection and support in one of the most dynamic regions in the country. If you’re an Executive Director who is proud of what you’ve built but ready for a change, this is your opportunity to lead a flagship community with real influence in the region. Bring your operational expertise, your heart for older adults and your appetite for what’s possible — and help write the next chapter for The Village at Rockville.
On any given day, you might round with your clinical and hospitality leaders, meet with a family weighing a move to the community, walk the grounds with Facilities talking about future capital projects, and end the afternoon representing The Village at Rockville with a local health system or congregation. The decisions you make will show up quickly in occupancy, team engagement and the everyday lives of the people who call this campus home.
In this role, you’ll own the full picture: the resident experience, the performance of a seasoned leadership team, regulatory readiness, financial results and the reputation of a well‑known campus in the community. You’ll be the connector between mission and margin — making sure residents feel known and cared for, team members feel supported and challenged, and the organization sees strong, sustainable results.
You will:

You will have the platform, support and resources of NLCS behind you, while maintaining the autonomy to shape the culture, performance and future direction of a flagship community where purpose truly never stops. If you are ready to move from maintaining a good operation to leading a mission‑driven campus with regional visibility and impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to align your leadership with purpose and result.
