What You Bring

LPN licensed required
Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Adult First Aid from the American Red Cross and/or American Heart Association
2 years’ experience in a health care related field and successful completion of the 80‑hour assisted living manager training program (Maryland only)
Must be considerate and respectful of the rights, dignity and sensitivities of aged and disabled persons
Must be clean and well‑groomed
Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing as applicable to their job responsibilities
Background check(s) consisting of a sworn statement or affirmation and criminal history check free of barrier crimes
Minimum 3–5 years supervisory experience in long term care facility or assisted living facility (Virginia only)
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; and ability to maintain confidentiality residential information
Must be proficient with a computer to include utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medication administration record (eMAR) as well as Microsoft Office

What You’ll Do

Supervise the assisted living nursing service program to ensure high‑quality care for residents.
Manage clinical oversight of resident care in assisted living and memory support.
Report to physicians, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives as needed.
Complete resident assessments and care plans.
Provide staff training.
Ensure resident records are maintained and updated.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident care.
Coordinate resident transfers to appropriate care settings.
Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.
