Job summary

Sunshine Behavioral Health is expanding with a brand-new center in Rochester, Minnesota: Rochester Recovery Behavioral Health. We are seeking an Executive Director to lead this new campus, reporting to the Regional Executive Director and overseeing the Nursing, Clinical, and Operations Directors.

You will set the vision, build a high-performing team, and drive growth while ensuring client-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Senior leadership experience in behavioral health or healthcare.
• Experience in program development, strategic planning, and fiscal management.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, state, and federal regulatory standards.
• Contract negotiation and compliance oversight experience.
• 5+ years of senior management or executive leadership experience.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and TB test.

• Coach, mentor, and develop senior leadership staff.
• Maintain facility and grounds standards through proactive oversight.
• Build strong partnerships within the Rochester community and surrounding areas.
• Review and authorize contracts and agreements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field
• Senior leadership experience in behavioral health or healthcare
• Proven experience in program development, strategic planning, and fiscal management
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, state, and federal regulatory standards
• Experience leading multidisciplinary leadership teams
• Contract negotiation and compliance oversight experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field
• 5+ years of senior management or executive leadership experience
• Current CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and TB test
