Job summary

A leading retirement community is seeking an accomplished Executive Director to manage operations in Raleigh, NC. This role requires an active NHA license and includes responsibilities such as overseeing a high-performing team and ensuring exceptional resident care. Candidates need a minimum of 5 years of experience in Executive Director positions, preferably in Independent Living. An excellent salary package along with profit-sharing and comprehensive medical benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active NHA license in North Carolina and relevant experience.
• Five years of Executive Director experience in Independent Living.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• Proven track record of maintaining high standards of care, service delivery, and resident satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of policies and procedures that support operational excellence.
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, expense control, revenue optimization.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and investment partners REQUIRED.
• Minimum of 5 years of Executive Director experience in Independent Living (high-end clientele required) REQUIRED.
• Solid understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
