Job summary

Opportunities, Inc. seeks a Program Manager/Director of Childcare to supervise the Early Intervention Day Treatment program on-site and to serve as Director of Childcare for the facility.

The role ensures compliance with state standards and oversees curriculum, staff, and community relations. The position requires a human services degree, relevant certifications, and experience in licensed childcare settings, with strong leadership and organizational skills to support children and families

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required.
• Twelve college credit hours in child development and six in management required.
• At least one year of experience in a licensed child-care center required.
• Two or more years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Childcare Center Director’s Certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Early Intervention Day Treatment program.
• Oversee as Director of Childcare for the entire facility.
• Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum standards for Child-Care Centers.
• Monitor curriculum, treatment plans, and lesson plans weekly.
• Maintain program facilities and inventory of supplies.
• Represent the program to parents, visitors and the public.
