Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Reporting Analyst on the Group Support Team to turn retail performance data into compelling reporting packages and executive presentations. You will work primarily in Excel and PowerPoint, transforming messy datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and brokers.

The role emphasizes building templates, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with relationships managers to support client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Business, Finance, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups; comfort with large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, CRM systems or reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong PowerPoint skills; ability to build decks from scratch.
• AI literacy as a tool to enhance decision-making and client engagement.
• Experience building reports, analyzing data, and preparing presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to break down complex tasks and engage stakeholders.
• Experience supporting projects from planning through completion.
• Insurance, sales support, relationship management or account management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance data to identify growth trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, validate, and summarize data across regions and lines of business.
• Build, update, and deliver internal reports, dashboards, and executive-ready PowerPoint decks.
• Translate data-driven insights into actionable guidance for brokers and stakeholders.
• Proof and quality-check your own work before delivery — numbers, labels, formatting, and consistency.
• Turn recurring reports and decks into reusable templates for faster cycles.
• Maintain and update the Retail Client database to support accurate reporting.
