Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school is required.
• Licensed by the Texas Supreme Court or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar.
• Minimum twelve years in health care law in a corporate or law firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise in-house attorneys and outside counsel on patient-care related legal matters.
• Coordinate with Chief Legal Officer and system leadership on risk and compliance.
• Mentor and develop attorneys and legal staff within the department.
• Ensure timely communication of significant matters to Executive Leadership.
