Job summary

The Environmental Law & Policy Center Of The Midwest Inc is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to manage key elements of its business operations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of senior management experience, particularly in the nonprofit sector.

The CAO will oversee finance, human resources, and IT systems while ensuring compliance across the organization. A salary range of $190,000 to $200,000 is offered, along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior operations/management experience in the nonprofit sector.
• Demonstrated commitment to public interest advocacy.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance, human resources, IT systems, and compliance.
• Manage the $15 million budget and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and legal requirements.
