Job summary

Capital One National Association is seeking a Principal Associate, Compensation to join the Executive Compensation team. You will perform deep analysis, lead benchmarking, and consult with HRBPs to design competitive executive pay programs.

This role emphasizes data-driven recommendations and cross-functional collaboration across compensation, equity, legal and HR partners. The position offers opportunities to advance compensation design, perform ad-hoc studies, and develop client-facing tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Compensation or Finance or Analytics, or a combination.
• 2+ years of experience in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Master’s Degree and CCP preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Executive/Corporate Compensation or Finance/Analytics preferred.
• Experience with Workday and reporting tools (Tableau, Snowflake) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep analysis on designing and implementing competitive executive compensation programs through benchmarking, market research, etc.
• Lead annual processes such as benchmarking, compensation focal cycles, etc.
• Consult on compensation matters with Human Resources Business Partners
• Research and formulate recommendations on external and internal employment offers, job leveling, and compensation programs through surveys and internal compensation tools
• Lead ad-hoc and recurring analytical projects such as compression studies, pay cliff analyses, etc.
• Create internal and client-facing tools to further enhance the simplicity and transparency of our programs
• Partner with cross functional teams to deliver against business intent
