Job summary

ThinkTek LLC seeks a Communications Support Specialist to support a Department of War client and an integrated air and missile defense program. You will assist executive-level communications, program coordination, meeting prep, and stakeholder engagement for the GDA Resonance team at HQ GDA.

This role requires strong organizational and messaging skills to work with senior leaders, staff directors, SMEs, and external partners. A TS clearance and relevant defense experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting government or defense organizations.
• Demonstrated professional speechwriting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
• Experience coordinating meetings, events, or stakeholder communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program operations, communications, and stakeholder engagement for the GDA Resonance team.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, and action-item tracking for internal program meetings.
• Coordinate logistics and communications for executive-speaking engagements and events.
• Develop executive remarks, speeches, talking points, and related materials with senior leadership.
• Refine remarks to align with messaging and leadership priorities.
• Maintain repositories of remarks, presentations, and related communications.
• Develop tools to collect background information from event organizers and participants.
• Support approved public speaking engagements with executive staff.
• Attend approved speaking engagements to capture information for future communications.
• Draft and revise executive remarks based on stakeholder feedback.
• Track engagement requirements, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Promote consistent messaging and coordination across GDA staff and stakeholders.
