Job summary

Moody's is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Executive Communications & Thought Leadership to drive strategic messaging for the CEO, CFO, and CAO across platforms. You will craft remarks, op-eds, and leadership content, aligning tone with each executive’s voice while maintaining consistency with Moody’s narrative and brand.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional writing experience in corporate communications, journalism, speechwriting, or related field.
• Ability to write across multiple executive voices with distinct tone.
• Strong research and industry monitoring skills to surface opportunities.
• Curiosity about markets, credit, regulation, and Moody's sectors; initiative to surface opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive executive communications and thought leadership for the CEO, CFO and CAO across platforms.
• Maintain executive voice, narrative positioning, and organized content files and history.
• Monitor industry news and competitor activity to surface opportunities for each executive.
• Draft executive communications including remarks, talking points, op-eds, and briefing materials.
• Write and edit enterprise content supporting Moody's brand and thought leadership.
• Support crisis and routine corporate communications with fast, accurate drafting under deadlines.
• Collaborate with teams across MCO Reputation, Corporate Affairs, and executives' teams to stay strategically aligned.
• Track opportunity pipelines and engagement outcomes to refine strategy.
• Manage multiple concurrent writing and research tasks with high quality and speed.
