Moody's Investors Service is seeking an experienced writer to drive executive communications and thought leadership for the CEO, CFO, and CAO across platforms.

You will craft remarks, briefing materials, and opinion content, collaborating with Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs to ensure accuracy and alignment with Moody's voice. The role demands rapid, precise drafting and strategic messaging across senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional writing experience in corporate communications, journalism, speechwriting, or related field.
• Ability to write across multiple executive voices with distinct tones.
• Strong research skills and ability to identify speaking and thought leadership opportunities.
• Curiosity about markets, credit, regulation, Moody's sectors; surface opportunities proactively.
• Draft and edit quickly under deadlines, including on sensitive topics.
• Collaborate with executive teams, investor relations, and stakeholders to align content.
• Understand AI concepts and explore responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive executive communications and thought leadership for the CEO, CFO and CAO across platforms.
• Build understanding of each executive's priorities to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging and organized content.
• Monitor industry news and surface speaking, media, and leadership opportunities.
• Draft remarks, talking points, op-eds, and briefing materials across three executive voices.
• Support enterprise content and recognition campaigns to strengthen Moody's brand.
• Collaborate with Reputation, Corporate Affairs, and teams to keep content timely and aligned.
• Track opportunities and outcomes to refine strategy.
• Manage multiple writing and research assignments with high quality and speed.
