Moody's is seeking an Assistant Vice President in New York to lead executive communications and thought leadership for the CEO, CFO and CAO. You will develop and maintain a consistent voice, turning strategic priorities into impactful content across platforms, while coordinating with investor relations and business partners to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

The role requires deep writing experience, strong research skills, and curiosity about markets and AI-enabled tools to accelerate

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional writing in corporate communications, journalism, or speechwriting.
• Ability to write across multiple executive voices with distinct positioning.
• Strong research and industry monitoring to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive executive communications and thought leadership for the CEO, CFO and CAO across platforms.
• Understand each executive's priorities and voice to ensure consistent, on-brand content.
• Monitor industry news to surface relevant speaking and thought leadership opportunities.
• Draft remarks, talking points, op-eds, and briefing materials across three voices.
• Write and edit enterprise content supporting Moody's brand and thought leadership.
• Support crisis and routine communications with fast, accurate drafting under deadlines.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations and cross-functional teams to align content.
• Track opportunity pipelines to refine communications strategy.
