Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced Executive Communications professional to craft and edit executive communications, speeches, and social media content. You will develop messaging aligned with senior leaders and ensure consistency across channels.

You will drive engagement through digital strategies, maintain executive voice guidelines, and collaborate with teams to translate business objectives into compelling narratives. 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent writer and strong editor.
• Experience writing for executive-level leadership.
• Experience in collaborative, matrixed team environments.
• Experience with enterprise-level social media strategy.
• Proven success developing and executing integrated communications strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time; travel may include intra-office within the DC metro area and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Communications Manager with researching, planning, writing, and editing executive communications, including speeches, talking points, social media content, op-eds, and senior leader preparation materials.
• Develop and manage CEO social media content and digital communication strategies to drive engagement across defined priority audiences and focus areas.
• Develop, maintain, and apply executive voice guidelines and key messages for consistency across all executive communications.
• Review executive invitations and engagements and develop clear recommendations and responses.
• Gather and analyze data to assess executive communications effectiveness with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with communications across the enterprise to align strategies with business objectives and stakeholder priorities.
• Implement and refine processes supporting long-term planning, high-quality content, and meaningful insights across activities.
• Participate in enterprise-level planning teams focused on Northrop Grumman priorities.
