Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Advanced degree (MSN) required or in progress
• Current RN licensure or eligibility
• Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership in inpatient rehab or acute care
• Experience leading large nursing teams
• 24-hour nursing leadership accountability
• Budgeting and financial oversight
• Policy and procedure development

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for nursing services and 24-hour accountability for patient care
• Lead nursing managers, supervisors, and frontline teams
• Maintain high standards for clinical quality, safety, compliance, and nursing practice
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, FTE management, productivity, and resource allocation
• Manage nursing budgets and ensure financial performance
• Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and act on survey insights
• Lead recruitment, retention, and leadership development efforts
• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across nursing
• Oversee policies, procedures, standards, and improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with CEO and interdisciplinary team to achieve hospital goals
• Promote a culture focused on exceptional patient outcomes and engagement
