Job summary

NorthBay Health seeks a visionary Vice President, Hospital Chief Nursing Officer to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for nursing across NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital.

You will partner with senior leadership to advance nursing practice, workforce engagement, and high-quality patient care while driving financial and operational performance in a multi-hospital system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Doctoral degree (DNP, PhD, EdD, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for nursing across two hospitals.
• Drive strategic, operational, and clinical nursing excellence.
• Ensure staffing models and workforce deployment meet patient needs.
• Advance Magnet designation and nursing practice standards.
• Oversee regulatory readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster physician collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Manage budgets and support organizational performance goals.
