Job summary

VNA Health Group is seeking a visionary Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to serve as the organization’s senior nursing executive and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. The CNO reports to the President & CEO and leads nursing practice across home health, hospice, and community-based services.

This role focuses on clinical excellence, workforce development, quality outcomes, and innovative care delivery. The CNO shapes enterprise nursing strategy with analytics and technology, strengthening

Qualifications

RN license in New Jersey (for CNO role)
BSN required; master's in healthcare field preferred
Minimum of ten years of progressive nursing leadership experience
Experience in Home Health, Hospice, or community-based care
Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
Strong communication and executive presence

Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise-wide nursing strategy aligned with organizational goals
Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
Mentor and develop nursing leaders; succession planning
Oversee staffing, budgeting, and resource utilization
Partner with IT, informatics, and analytics to optimize clinical workflows
Represent nursing to executive leadership, board, and external partners
