Job summary

StartCare, Inc. seeks a Clinic Director to lead the New York clinics, overseeing clinical and administrative services, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement.

This role covers East Harlem, Manhattan, or Fort Greene, Brooklyn, and requires ensuring regulatory compliance and audit readiness while driving staff excellence and patient care quality. The Director fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, oversees performance metrics, participates in investigations, and maintains strong community

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field or MBA/management degree preferred.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• Casac credential preferred; supervision experience in SUD is valued.
• Minimum 6–8 years of clinical behavioral health experience; 3+ years supervisory.
• Knowledge of urban community health needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise clinical, administrative, security, and maintenance functions.
• Oversee fiscal operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, regulatory standards and audits.
• Provide clinical supervision and ensure proper documentation of supervision.
• Collaborate with Finance, Real Property, and People and Culture on operations.
