Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a strategic Chief Information Security Officer to lead enterprise cyber risk, governance, and security architecture in a large engineering services organization.

Reporting to executive leadership, the CISO will drive security strategy, DevSecOps adoption, and federal compliance (CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS) while enabling digital transformation and cloud adoption across the business.

Qualifications

• Education in cybersecurity, information security, or related field.
• Demonstrated executive-level leadership and risk management.
• Experience advising Board on cyber risk and spend governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cyber strategy, governance, and security program.
• Oversee federal compliance including CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS.
• Drive DevSecOps and secure SDLC across cloud and on‑premises.
