Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team in a large senior living community. You will design menus, manage food cost, supervision, and ensure delicious, nutritious meals for residents daily.

Responsibilities include planning menus, supervising cooks, hiring and training staff, maintaining sanitation, and collaborating with nursing and activities teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences. FDA standards and ServSafe compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning menus for large groups and special diets.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and health regulations (FDA/DOH).
• ServSafe certification is required and current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, test, and cost new menus and menu items.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure timely service.
• Hire, train, and evaluate food service personnel.
