Stellar Senior Living in Missoula, MT is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen for a large senior living community. You will oversee staff, menus, and daily food service operations to deliver fine dining for residents.

Qualificações

• Must have Culinary Arts degree and two years related executive chef experience.
• Five years of kitchen experience in medium to large organizations.
• Experience hiring, training and managing food service personnel.
• Experience with menu design, food preparation and culinary terminology.
• Ability to operate computer equipment for data entry and retrieval.
• Must have an active ServSafe certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, test and assess cost of new menus and menu items.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure sanitation standards.
• Lead cooks and food service personnel in food preparation and serving.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring of food service staff and manage personnel actions.
• Schedule staff and handle time-off requests.
• Read and interpret financial performance and adjust activities accordingly.
• Manage purchasing and inventory of food products and kitchen supplies; conduct month-end inventory.
