Rose Senior Living Beachwood is seeking an Executive Chef focused on hospitality and hands-on production in the Community Culinary Services Department. You will oversee quality, sanitation, and menus, while maintaining compliance with dietary standards and local regulations.

The role requires leadership of kitchen staff, menu planning, and close collaboration with residents to ensure high satisfaction and a welcoming community atmosphere in Beachwood, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts preferred.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Chef/Kitchen Manager in restaurant/senior living or equivalent environment.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organizational practices.
• Ensure food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Supervise kitchen employees.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs aligning with nutritional criteria and diets.
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and efficiency in cooking preparation.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking and production.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as needed.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and adjust operations accordingly.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support marketing and occupancy.
