Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is seeking an Executive Chef for L. Woods Tap & Pine Lodge in Lincolnwood, IL. The role requires leadership of BOH operations, menu development, and cost management across multiple sites.

The Executive Chef will guide hourly and management teams, develop seasonal menus, and ensure proper training and SOP adherence, while working varied shifts including early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Executive Chef experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.
• Skilled in managing BOH systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BOH operations and control food costs.
• Provide guidance to hourly and management teams.
• Research, develop and execute seasonal menus with divisional leaders.
• Ensure BOH training in collaboration with trainers and chefs.
• Conduct quarterly in-restaurant audit of BOH SOPs and systems.
• Purchase and order food products and supplies with designated chefs.
• Maintain recipe books with GM and managers/chefs.
• Create and maintain recipe costing with GM and chefs.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop BOH staff.
• Promote teamwork across all teams.
• Handle guest, vendor, and employee-related challenges with tact.
• Work varied shifts at multiple sites, with possible overnight travel.
