Job summary

Henderson Hospital is seeking an experienced culinary manager to oversee patient and staff meals in a hospital setting. You will manage the kitchen, ensure timely preparation and seasoning of meals, and supervise cooks and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Healthcare culinary leadership with a strong focus on food safety is essential; associates in culinary arts or substantial Executive Chef experience in hotel/healthcare is required, with Servesafe certification to be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associates of Arts in Culinary School or 5+ years as Executive Chef in healthcare/hotel required.
• Seven to ten years of progressively responsible food service administrative experience.
• Must achieve Servesafe Certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors.
• Develop, train and orient cooks as needed and oversee related kitchen activities.
