Job summary

Friendly Senior Living seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for residents, staff, and guests. You will manage menus, purchasing, staff training, and cost controls while ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals and strict food safety standards.

Reporting to the Dining Director, you will collaborate with dietitians, production managers, and food service staff to deliver meals that meet dietary requirements and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in Culinary Arts or Food and Beverage Management.
• Minimum of 5 years culinary or production experience.
• ServSafe and/or County Sanitation certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop recipes and portion specifications within budget and dietary guidelines.
• Oversee purchasing, training, and record keeping; manage sanitation and safety programs.
• Direct and supervise kitchen operations to meet quality and service standards.
• Collaborate with Clinical Dietitians to align menu offerings with patient diets.
• Maintain inventory, provide leadership, and ensure compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
