Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Eagle's Trace in West Houston, TX is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for multiple venues serving 600+ covers daily.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and top-quality food execution across production and service.You will mentor the culinary team, drive menu execution, control food and labor costs, ensure HACCP compliance and food safety, and partner with Food & Beverage leadership to deliver an outstanding resident

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of à la carte and catering trends; focus on quality and presentation.
• Proficiency with POS systems and PC software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the culinary team, promoting excellence and accountability.
• Oversee daily culinary operations across multiple dining venues.
• Drive menu innovation and resident dining experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Health Department, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Manage food and labor costs through purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and waste reduction.
• Maintain a visible presence in dining venues and engage with residents.
