Mama Mezze is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen in New York City. You will oversee all kitchen operations, drive menu development, and ensure high-quality East Mediterranean cuisine with strong food safety practices.

You will manage costs, train staff, and mentor team members while maintaining exceptional guest experiences. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds.
• DOH Food Protection Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all kitchen personnel and operations.
• Oversee ordering, food and labor cost management.
• Establish relationships with vendors and local farmers.
• Collaborate on menu creation and daily specials.
• Expedite orders and supervise service.
