The role you’ll contribute:
Under the supervision of the Food Service Director, the Executive Chef Manager plans, directs, and evaluates the purchase, production, presentation, and pricing of food and services for Patient Room Service, The Cornerstone Café, and Catering. Ensures standards of safety, nutritional value, quality, and performance are maintained and advanced. Responsible for recipe, menu, and concept development within departmental guidelines. Manages inventory and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission, state and local regulations, HACCP, and organizational policies.
This position leads culinary staff and inventory management, ensuring proper training and ongoing culinary education. Develops staffing plans for current and future needs, organizing food production for efficiency.

Oversees food production for Patient Room Service, The Cornerstone Café, and Catering, ensuring quality, presentation, and sanitation. Utilizes small batch cooking and standard recipes. Trains staff in proper techniques, manages inventory, and supervises staff performance, including coaching and disciplinary actions. Participates in hiring processes and promotes healthy cooking initiatives within the community. Checks food in progress for quality and safety, tasting and evaluating as needed.
