Unidine, a leader in hospitality dining services, is seeking an inspirational Executive Chef in the Chicago area to lead daily kitchen operations, recruit and train staff, and showcase culinary talents. You will drive show quality food, manage budgets, and ensure safety and sanitation standards while empowering onsite teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable.
• Hands-on chefs experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, cost controls and presentation.
• Proficient with computers including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary production focusing on food quality, safety and cost controls.
• Direct menu development and seasonal specials leveraging local ingredients.
• Oversee staff performance, training, and recruitment while maintaining standards.
