Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team, uphold premier food quality and safety, and drive profitability across all kitchen operations.

You will recruit and train BOH staff, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with sanitation policies while coordinating event support and maintaining guest satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership and a proactive, results‑driven approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Proactively recruit, hire and train BOH personnel and provide ongoing development.
• Oversee line checks and ensure quality and consistency of food preparation.
• Inspect kitchen operations to meet Ruth's Chris standards of excellence, safety and sanitation.
• Manage kitchen financials to drive restaurant profitability; control food costs.
• Plan events, schedule staff, and ensure proper staffing for peak times.
