Job summary

Piatti Mill Valley - our flagship location - is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen and define what "Piatti" tastes like everywhere. This hands‑on leadership role drives consistent food quality and hospitality, aligning recipes, techniques, and presentation with system-wide standards.

You will oversee operations, collaborate with the Director of Culinary to validate recipes, and build scalable processes that transfer across Piatti properties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Executive Chef in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Experience with inventory platforms/systems.
• Competent with Word/Office; basic computer competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations; plan and execute menus; manage budgets and cost control.
• Supervise kitchen staff; hire, train, coach, and evaluate performance.
• Partner with Director of Culinary to define and standardize recipes and presentation across Piatti properties.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
